U14 Training

A big day of GS training on a big slope.  We're starting at the top from Club 21 past the 5-0 start with a larger-than-usual GS shape and distance to practice speed and give the racers some time to feel pressures and make moves.

It needs to be noted that dull or semi-sharp skis will not be acceptable tomorrow as we are not grooming nightly and continue to maintain a very hard surface.  Please have your skis sharpened and waxed (waxing protects the base from the extreme friction and prevents drying out).

Please meet coaches at the Garbo Hut at 9am.  Take some warm-up laps and get moving while coaches are setting, adding dye, timing etc.  Use your morning time to do drills you've been learning this year.

Speed suits highly recommended, along with a training top/shorts to layer down from a large jacket.

Tomorrow afternoon coaches hope to see you at the ski club to watch the Kitzbuhel race and enjoy raclette!  More info on the parent page and e-news letter.
